This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to join one of the UK’s fastest growing technology and telecoms providers as they expand their operation nationwide!

The Senior Marketing Executive will raise awareness of technology and infrastructure projects with a key focus on educating, informing and exciting the city community to lay the groundwork for partners to successfully market and provide services.

Some of what you will be doing will include:
• Deliver strong local PR coverage of the project and the benefits to all parts of society working closely with the central marketing team and PR agency to ensure strong messaging across marketing channels
• Support the Marketing Manager to influence key stakeholders to adopt messaging and spread the word across their networks
• Brief local councils on the communications approach, ensuring the communications team are kept up to date with activities
• Organise campaigns to gain stakeholder buy in and support including events, regular newsletters and briefings
• Inform, engage and excite the community, residents and businesses, about the project and its benefits using multiple channels including social media, events and advertising
• Minimise the impact of the construction process on the community through strong communication with residents, including door knocking teams, distribution of information flyers and noticing letters and local events/initiatives
• Maximise visibility of the project during construction by ensuring sites and architecture carry strong branding and key messaging


To be successful in this role you’ll need:

• Several years’ experience in a marketing role
• Experience in executing multi-channel, on and off-line, marketing campaigns to generate leads and raise brand profile (e.g. direct mail, email, events, social media etc.)
• Effective management of client or external stakeholder relationships
• Excellent copywriting skills with experience in collateral creation
• Flexible approach to working hours (some occasional early morning, evening and weekend work required)
• Experience in marketing in both B2B and B2C environments (ideally within the telecoms or technology sectors)
• Experience of running localised marketing and communications campaigns
• An interest in and working knowledge of telecoms technologies
• Experience in several of the following software applications & online services:
– Pardot
– SalesForce
– WordPress
– LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter/Hootsuite (for advertising and B2B campaigns)
